In 1886 our pharmacy was founded by the pharmacist Alfred Blumenthal and has been based in the Gumpendorferstrasse 30 in the 6th district of Vienna since the beginning of the 20th century. For a long time it carried the somewhat akward name of “pharmacy of the holy trinity” and the pharmacist for many years was Egon Kuzmany, the nephew of the famous Opera singer Viorica Ursuleac.
In 2002 the pharmacy was taken over by Nicola Hitchman (who is no longer on board due to maternity leave), Alexander Ehrmann and Martin Rohla and for longer known reasons renamed to “Saint Charles pharmacy”. Since November 2006 the complete relaunch has been finalised. New shoots are growing from the healthy old roots…
